In this website I will have different pages for tips I have learned as well as thoughts and advice other vendors have passed onto us. Things that brides usually find out way to late and forget to tell other brides , and as with many insider tips, Never find out at all. But should have. Ways to save money, plan easier, and deal with the usual family issues and many other topics.Check back often as new things will be added daily.

Hello,
I am Patricia Miller. I have been working in the wedding industry for nearly 16 years. My family is made up of various wedding specialists. I have been to hundreds of weddings working from all vendor points of view, including planning my own wedding.

My husband and I own and operate a very successful wedding photography business.Airen Miller Photography.  I have seen a lot and picked up some great INSIDER tips for new brides.

Question: Is it ok to ask the girls at a bachelorette party to pay per head like the boys do?

A. Unlike a shower, where the hostess pays for the party (that may mean the maid of honor or the maid of honor and all the bridesmaids), for a bachelorette bash, it's completely cool to ask everyone who comes to chip in. Make it clear before the festivities begin though. Tell all the guests what the plan is and the suggested contribution. No one should have a problem with it -- they'll all want to feel like they're taking the bride out to paint the town red!

Tips Tips Tips.......

*The open bar is usually the hot spot. Think of adding decor embellishments AROUND the bar area. This will be a nice touch for all who visit it as well as when a line adds up. Maybe some old family photos on an easel near this area with dramatic lighting. What ever you do however do not add items too the actual bar. It will disturb the bartender.
*Chair covers are a needed thing if you have an unattractive standard chair. Keep an eye out around the holidays you can pick these up very inexpensively at stores like target. It is ok to do just the bridal party chairs if needed.
*A great touch for the bathroom. ( yes the bathroom. All your guests will end up using the restroom)  soaps that are individually wrapped with the bride and grooms' name on it, or matches and other FUN items can be personalized and added to the bathroom so guests stay in the mood of the day even in the bathroom. Add a large Arrangement to the counter and add in sticks of gum or breathe mints for the guests to take.
